ChatGPT for your PDF documents

Many students, researchers, and professionals find themselves having to study complex topics, spending hours reading through dense documents, and getting lost on a sea of information without being able to identify key concepts and recall essential takeaways. The process is time-consuming and mentally exhausting. We realized there was an opportunity for a tool – and we came up with PDF BFF. A smart AI assistant, tailored for PDF documents, that could help users quickly understand and interact with PDF documents.

Background

This project kicked off during our hackathon at Concealed’s annual team retreat. We’d been recognizing a growing trend in AI-powered tools for document interaction, and this felt like the perfect opportunity to explore our ambition of building our own SaaS products, moving beyond our usual agency work.

Role

I was the lead designer of the product, taking on a wide range of work that spanned the entire product lifecycle.
